DNA videos shown on Nigerian state TV were a success!

A few months ago, we announced a new DNA video series to be broadcast across Nigeria on state television, an effort spearheaded by our friend Steve Chia and his local church in Jos, Nigeria. The 7-part series, “Monday Church,” challenged and encouraged Christians to practically live out their faith every day of the week in every vocation and sphere of society–even those we typically consider “secular.”

“The airing is going so well,” reported Steve Chia. “We keep getting requests for the videos from people.”

Wanting to keep this momentum and to be wise about distributing limited resources, Steve is arranging multiple follow-up discussion sessions in his home with those who requested the videos.

“The choice of a home setting is to take the pastors and the others from their ever-busy environment,” he says. “The reason for wanting to meet them is to have a feel for their understanding of the subject matter and what a difference that would make in their walk for the Lord.” Steve plans to give the videos for free to those who show commitment by attending all of the sessions.

We rely on God because we know he is the only one who can give people new hearts (Ezekiel 36:26-27, John 15:5). Please join us in praying for these follow-up sessions in Steve’s home.

“Please, pray with us that the messages from the ‘Monday Church’ will be lasting and transformational,” says Steve.
