Internationally acclaimed film “It’s a Girl” now available on Netflix, iTunes and DVD

Question: What are the three deadliest words in the world?

Answer: “It’s a girl.”

The United Nations estimates that 200 million women are missing from the earth today specifically because they died of murder or neglect due to their sex. In India, one in four girls will not survive childhood. This film unpacks this appalling reality and has spurred a whirlwind of action to change the mindsets and the laws that allow this injustice to persist.

You now can watch this internationally acclaimed documentary film on Netflix (U.S. only), buy it on iTunes, or buy the DVD.

This film has been viewed by groups from the United Nations, the U.S. Congress, and British and European Parliaments. Having been translated into multiple languages, it was shown in Hong Kong by Amnesty International and is inspiring activists across the globe. The film’s director, Evan Grae Davis, has been mentored by DNA co-founder Darrow Miller and has presented his work at Tedx Talks in Mumbai and Michigan.

In October 2012, the DNA secretariat office organized the first screening of this film in Phoenix, and the event was sold out.

Watch the film this week, and open your eyes to this grave injustice that the Church needs to address.

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8
