What’s the Big Deal about Corruption?

BY DWIGHT VOGT

There often is a practical disconnect between worldview theory and application. For example, how do we apply the Biblical worldview to the problem of corruption? This article looks at this topic and explores how corruption violates key Biblical worldview principles and how the application of these principles drives back corruption.

Corruption is a big deal. Whether at the highest levels of government or every day transactions between common persons, corruption always undercuts the progress of people. It sabotages the development of individuals, families, communities and nations. However, by diligently learning, applying and trusting in God’s design for people and their development as individuals, communities and nations we can begin to stand against the acceptance of corruption and its practice.
