Katherine's Testimony
Katherine’s testimony illustrates how nations are discipled—person by person, from the inside out, starting with the most basic community of all — the family:
I am a homeschool mother. I was first exposed to DNA’s training 13 years ago. At that point, we had an 18-month-old baby, and after listening to the trainer, I realized how important maternity is. She blew my mind when she said that the education of the children is the responsibility of the parents.
After reading the books she recommended and watching DNA’s Coram Deo courses, I began to embrace my vocation; being a mother became my life’s mission.
We decided that I would stay at home to raise our children; they would be taught at home, and we have seen the faithfulness of God in our lives; He has taken care of us, and we have never had a lack of anything. He gave me the talent to be a good steward of everything He gives us. I learn how to be thrifty and multiply whatever resources I have every day.

He gave me the talent to be a good steward of everything He gives us. I learn how to be thrifty and multiply whatever resources I have every day.
It has been fun to teach my children biblical principles and values in daily life. When we went to the library, the museum, the park, and to visit some friends, I always looked for opportunities to teach them. They have been taught to love God, the Scripture, reading, music, and the arts.
Now, Daniel is 14, and he has an exceptional musical talent.
He started playing a handmade flute (a PVC tube) when he was 6 years old. In September 2019, something extraordinary happened: since we love music and the arts, we went to Andre Rieu’s orchestra concert in Bogotá, and that day, there was a power outage during the concert. While the people were waiting, they started to sing Colombian songs that Daniel knew how to play. So, I told him to take his flute and play (I had taken the flute in my bag “just in case”). He was shy at the beginning, but I encouraged him to do it, and I told him, “You don’t know if maybe the artist can listen to you, and you go to the stage.”
That is exactly what happened. As Daniel began playing, people listened, then cheered and sang along. After 50 minutes, the power came back on, and Andre Rieu recognized Daniel from the stage. Later, he personally invited us to attend the concert the following day. We sat in VIP seats, and after the concert, Andre Rieu gave him a transverse flute. He told him that one day, when he plays the flute well, he would play with his orchestra. That day came five years later. You can watch it here in a short 7-minute video.
We moved to Canada in 2024, and Daniel continues to play and learn at the Conservatory of Music in Victoria, BC. Our daughter Victoria has been gifted in the arts as well; she plays the piano and loves to sing. We are clear that everything that has happened is just because of His grace, He is so good to us, and we are grateful.
We are intentionally working every day to form our children in Jesus’ character. We, as a family, have been studying DNA’s Coram Deo courses (one lesson every week). It is fantastic to see how their little minds become more critical every day. They are great at observing people, and they don’t stop analyzing everyone’s worldview. Sometimes they come to me and say that person has secularism/animism on his mind, or my daughter Victoria used to say: “That woman has her mind infected with the lie of feminism, and she doesn’t want to have children or get married.” When they watch a movie, they identify the lies behind it, or even in a book.
We know that the most important thing is that they can love God and serve their neighbors; the best way to do it is with their talents and gifts. We always say to them that God has created them with a big purpose; we are part of His Story.
Victoria is 11 years old, and she always says she wants to have four or more children and teach them the same way I have taught her. She dreams of being a great mother and wife.
DNA’s Change Theory
What 63 interviews tell us about the secrets to DNA impact
In 2025, a team of researchers joined the DNA’s leadership team to interview 63 Kingdomizers from every global region DNA touches. In addition to illuminating the impact of DNA in their lives, organizations, and communities, the interview data revealed the reasons why DNA is so powerful to effect change in people.
There are 18 principles that tell us why DNA has such an impact on the lives of people. Click here to download the PDF. More details and reports from this assessment will be made available early in 2026. Be sure to watch for more information!
Join the Movement of DNA Kingdomizers!
A Kingdomizer is someone who has experienced a paradigm shift in their worldview, in part through the DNA’s teaching. As a result, they desire to join other like-minded Christians in growing in their knowledge of a biblical worldview and in intentionally and strategically advancing God’s Kingdom. If this describes you, please submit your request to join the Network!
