The DNA movement revs up in Mexico

In mid-August, about 20 believers assembled at the YWAM base in Guadalajara, Mexico to work on organizing a DNA network in that nation.

José Curiel, the director of the YWAM base, Mark and Serena Dunbar, missionaries with World Gospel Mission, church leaders from at least four Christian denominations, and Scott Allen, president of the DNA global secretariat were present.

Scott taught for two hours on how to build a movement, sharing principles and methods for forming local networks.

The team spent time brainstorming next steps, including connecting with other Christian leaders in Mexico who are using DNA materials or have attended Vision Conferences but were not able to attend this meeting. The team plans to conduct one Vision Conference in 2016 to draw in more church leaders and cast vision for how DNA teachings can be used by the Church in Mexico. They also have asked each church involved to plan two or more Seed Projects for 2016 so those projects can be promoted as outcomes of DNA teaching.
