More than 120 champions, practitioners, national and regional alliance leaders, and partner organizations of the Disciple Nations Alliance gathered together in Pretoria, South Africa for the biennial 2011 Global Forum, hosted by the Southern Africa region of Samaritan Strategy Africa. Also attending the Forum were leaders from several organizations who came to explore joining the DNA as partners. These included African Leadership, ACROSS, Immanuel International, and World Gospel Mission. A delegation of church leaders from Brazil also attended with the desire to explore next steps in forming a national DNA network in that country.

Highlights of the four-day event included hearing many powerful stories of impact from around the world, with a particular focus on stories from Africa. The forum opened with a day of prayer and fasting, followed by times of worship, and an enthusiastic “world cup of volleyball” with the championship trophy going to Asia.

Anna and Nam Ho also shared details of their powerful church-based development program in Southeast Asia.

The next DNA Global Forum will be held in Spring 2013 in Latin America (exact location is yet to be determined).

  1. Dear DNA Team,

My sincere appreciations for the conference well hosted in Pretoria last Feb to March. I personally had a great time of reflection, interaction and special encounter with the Lord. That conference left me more focused to pursue Gods’ leading in my life. Am blessed to have been part of the life changing experience. May the good Lord truly bless all our works and efforts as the DNA movement globally.
    Golda
